Important Passport Information for Your Portugal Retreat
Before traveling to Portugal, ensure your passport is ready and meets the necessary requirements:
1. Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from Portugal. Check your expiration date and renew if needed.
2. Blank Pages
Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
3. Processing Time
If you need to apply for or renew your passport, allow plenty of time. Standard processing can take 8-11 weeks, while expedited services (for an additional fee) take 5-7 weeks.

4. Lost or Stolen Passports
In case of a lost or stolen passport while abroad, immediately contact your country’s nearest embassy or consulate.

5. Visa Information
U.S. citizens and many other nationalities do not require a visa for stays in Portugal of up to 90 days. Check visa requirements if you are traveling on a non-U.S. passport.
6. Digital Backup
